WHAT IS HOUSING BENEFIT?
The Housing Benefit allows eligible members to withdraw part of their TNPF savings to help with housing needs.
It is designed to support you in providing a safe secure and decent home for you and your family.

Paid in lump-sum
Subject to TNPF verification & approval.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
You may be eligible for an Emigration Benefit if:
You are a TNPF member.
You are the owner, co-owner of the property.
You intent to use the benefit for approved housing purposes
You meet all TNPF requirements and provide valid supporting documents.
IMPORTANT
This benefit is for housing purposes only. It cannot be used for land purchase alone or for investment properties.
WHAT CAN YOU USE IT FOR?
1. Building a New Home
Construct a new house for you and your family.
2. Buying a House
Purchase an existing house for you and your family to live in.
3. Home Improvements
Extend, upgrade or renovate your existing home.
4. Essential Facilities
Install or improve basic facilities such as water, toilet, kitchen or electricity.
5. Major Repairs
Repair or replace major structural parts of your home.
WHAT YOU NEED?
1. Valid Identification
Copy of your valid passport.
2. Proof of Ownership
Title, lease agreement or other proof of ownership or occupancy.
3. Project / Quotation
Building plan, contractor quotation or cost estimate for the housing work.
4. House Plan / Photos
House plan or photos of your home or the area of proposed improvement.
5. Bank Account Details
Provide Bank Details information if not yet known.
HOW TO APPLY
STEP 1
Get the Form
Download or collect the Housing Benefit Form from our office or website.
STEP 2
complete the Form
Fill in your details carefully and attach all required documents.
STEP 3
Submit Application
Submit your Housing Application in person at the TNPF office.
STEP 4
Assessment
TNPF will assess your application and may contact you if additional information is required.
STEP 5
Approval
Once approved, we will confirm the amount payable.
STEP 6
Payment
Payment will be made to your Bank.
6. IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Housing Benefit is a partial withdrawal. Your TNPF membership remains active & you are currently employed.
False or misleading information may result in delay or rejection of your application.
TNPF reserves the right to request additional documents if necessary.
There is a fee of AUD$20.00 when applying for Housing Benefit.
