Are applying for medical or educational support for yourself or eligible dependents.

Please provide clear copies of the following:

l Completed MEDU Benefit Application Form 
l Medical Reports, invoices (for medical claims)

l School/college invoice (for education claims)

l Proof of relationship (if applying for a dependent)

l Bank account details for Payment

WHAT DOES THE MEDU BENEFIT COVER?

MEDICAL SUPPORT

Financial assistance for medical and health related expenses:

v Travel and hospital costs for overseas referral cases recommended by medical practitioner (paid directly to airline or hospital);

v Medical examination costs at an approved hospital (paid directly to hospital);

v Payment for drugs/medicines as prescribed by medical practitioner (payment not less than $10.00);

v Travelling and delivery costs for a pregnant member or his/her dependent who prefers to give birth overseas;

v Travelling costs for one caretaker;

v Refund members for payment of their own costs;

EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT

Financial assistance for educational expenses to help you and your dependent to learn and grow:

v Payment of school fees to secondary school or private/special school. Payment is made directly;

v Payment for tuition fees and course fees to a recognized University. 

v Payment is made directly;

v Payment for dependent’s school fees attending overseas pre-school or primary school. Payment is made directly;

v Textbooks, school uniforms only, or any equipment that is required at the school. Payment is made directly to the schools or service provider;

Fill out all sections and attached the required documents.

If approved, payment will be made to your nominated bank account.

IMPORTANT NOTES

After opting for the Term Annuity Withdrawal Benefit and have changed your mind, you can always change the term (> 5 years).

Payments are made monthly in advance to your nominated bank account.

Annuity rates are reviewed from time to time.

This Benefit is subject to the TNPF Act and Policy requirements.
